Selfinvest is the private holding and investment company for Torben Østergaard-Nielsen and his family. As holding and investment company, Selfinvest has three fundamental tasks:
- To invest and manage the equity, among others through interest investments with active involvement
- To create the framework for active ownership and support the governance of operating companies in line with family values
- To create value for the family (family office) and operating companies
The history of Selfinvest
A dedicated family office
The Østergaard family’s business legacy dates back to 1876, forming the foundation for what is today Selfinvest. In 2015, the family formally established Selfinvest as their dedicated family office. Its purpose is to oversee asset management and investments, while also providing the framework for the Østergaard family’s active ownership of the Group.
Through Selfinvest, the family continues to pursue a long-term ownership strategy that ensures the stability and development of the USTC Group and Selected Car Group for future generations.
