In this role, you will work hands-on with platform engineering, ensuring that the platform supports reliable, secure, and scalable data capabilities across the organization while enabling a modern and efficient setup. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to establish strong platform patterns and support a robust data foundation.

Examples of your tasks include:

  • Developing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to ensure consistent, automated, and secure platform provisioning
  • Supporting ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and serving capabilities across the platform
  • Implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation to improve deployment quality and operational efficiency
  • Collaborating closely with data engineers, architects, and platform leads to implement platform standards and best practices
  • Ensuring observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting are implemented across platform services and pipelines

You will also support platform security, access management, and compliance requirements, contribute to the continuous improvement of platform reliability, scalability, and performance, and help establish reusable templates, modules, and engineering patterns to support self-service capabilities across teams. Additionally, you will participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis, while continuously staying updated on modern platform engineering, cloud, and AI-enabled development practices.

In practice, this is a role where you combine engineering excellence, automation, and collaboration to help build a modern and scalable enterprise data platform.

Your qualifications

  • Cloud-native services and distributed data systems

  • Data engineering concepts such as ingestion, orchestration, transformation, and Storage
  • Monitoring, observability, and operational support practices DevOps and platform engineering principles

You work in a structured and quality-focused way, take ownership of your deliveries, and collaborate effectively across engineering and business stakeholders.

It is an advantage if you also have:

  • Experience working with hybrid data platforms
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud governance
  • Experience with streaming, event-driven architectures, or real-time data processing
  • Familiarity with DataOps practices
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale platform environments
