Job Description

Head of Commercial Academy

Do you want to build a global commercial capability platform from the ground up and help develop commercial excellence in a market-leading international organisation?

We are establishing a Commercial Academy to ensure that every commercial employee has the skills, mindset, and tools required to perform effectively in a rapidly changing market environment.
As Head of Commercial Academy, you will design, build, and lead a global learning environment across Global Sales, Global Supply, and GRM. The Academy will serve as the foundation for onboarding, professional development, specialisation, and leadership development across the commercial organisation.

Reporting to our CEO, Peder Møller, this is a unique opportunity to build a strategic learning hub that directly supports business performance, commercial change, and our Founder’s Mentality. The role can be based in Dubai, Copenhagen, or Middelfart, depending on the selected candidate.

What we are looking for
We are looking for a commercially driven leader who is committed to building learning expertise that creates business impact.
You thrive in the connection between business strategy, people development, and performance improvement. You like bringing order to complexity, helping organizations adapt, and connecting people to a shared vision for progress and growth.

As Head of Commercial Academy, you will play a key role in shaping how we develop commercial talent, embed critical capabilities, and strengthen leadership across our global organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish learning journeys across commercial functions
  • Own and develop Trader Programs (introduction, sales process and compliance)
  • Create specialization tracks across segments, products, and services
  • Develop leadership, coaching, and change management skills
  • Support the development of future commercial leaders
  • Partner with Commercial Leadership, HR and business experts

A Commercial Leader driving capability and performance
You combine commercial understanding with a commitment to developing people and organisations. You are an experienced people and performance leader who can connect learning initiatives directly to business priorities and performance outcomes. You are comfortable working with senior stakeholders and can implement change across an organization.

What success looks like in this role
Success in this role will be defined by building and embedding a global Commercial Academy across commercial functions and markets. The Academy should accelerate the development of commercial talent, specialist expertise, while reinforcing critical capabilities and creating consistent commercial ways of working across the organisation.

The results of your work will be seen in:

  • Improved commercial performance and organisational results
  • More effective leadership and a stronger pipeline of future commercial leaders
  • A clear link between capability development, business priorities, and measurable business impact

What we expect you to bring to the role
You communicate with clarity and confidence, whether facilitating discussions, presenting to stakeholders, or engaging across the organisation. You combine a strategic mindset with a hands-on execution approach and are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Furthermore, you bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Learning & Development, Commercial Excellence, Sales Enablement, Talent Development, or Commercial Leadership
  • Strong commercial foundation, combined with solid business acumen and experience from commercial organisations with direct customer interaction
  • Experience managing organisational change and establishing new ways of working

Why apply for this role
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a strategic agenda with direct influence on commercial results, employee development, leadership effectiveness, and sustained growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, Peder Møller, you will drive the programme in close collaboration with Commercial Leadership, HR, and business experts, with the potential to build a team over time.

Ready to take the next step?
If this sounds like the challenge you are looking for, we would be happy to hear from you.

Please upload your application and CV. We review applications on an ongoing basis and will schedule interviews as soon as we identify suitable candidates. There is no fixed application deadline, as we will close the process once the right candidate has been found. Please note that due to the summer holiday period, response times may be slightly longer than usual.

We are looking forward to reading your application.
