Job Description
Are you an experienced communications professional with a passion for internal communication and do you want to join a skilled team in an international group? We are looking for a communications expert who is keen to take on responsibility for all internal communication across our global setup.
About USTC
We are a family-owned company with a strong culture, and we support and help each other. Our core values are Decency, Leadership & Business Acumen. At USTC, we are part of a unique conglomerate that owns and supports companies across diverse industries - from shipping and fuel trading to IT, logistics, and risk management. This creates a workplace where tasks are varied and dynamic. You will need to absorb knowledge quickly, collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, and navigate different industries.
Join our Global Communications team
Reporting to the Vice President of Group Communications & Public Affairs, you will, together with the rest of the Communications team hold a central role in the organisation with daily interactions with many stakeholders across the group. The team is responsible for all internal and external communication as well as public affairs and political advocacy within the group. The position is located at our headquarters in Middelfart.
About the job
You will join a highly collaborative communications team and take full ownership of all internal communication activities.
In this role, you will have direct leadership responsibility for team members across visual/technical production and daily press coordination. You will work closely with companies that have different needs, styles, and channels for internal communication, ensuring alignment and consistency across the USTC Group. Your mission is to strengthen and evolve our communication platform and strategy, supporting engagement and connectivity across the organisation.
This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You will advise key stakeholders, develop impactful content, and oversee projects that range from articles and videos to digital formats and leadership communication initiatives.
Furthermore, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute content plan for internal media – including coordinating, writing articles, producing videos etc.
- Develop and drive leadership communication – i.e leadership communication packages
- Support townhall meetings
- Contribute to larger communication projects such as annual reports, website updates, and cross-organisational initiatives.
- Take part in general communication tasks, supporting key projects, campaigns, and stakeholder communication across the group.
“Internal Communication is a key pillar in our cross-group communications set-up. We already have strong internal channels both technically and editorially, but we see great potential in continuing to expand internal and leadership communications even more,” says Jonas Søndergård, Vice President Group Communications & Public Affairs.
An experienced communication specialist with excellent stakeholder management skills
You understand how to turn projects and business needs into engaging and impactful communication and come with a structured approach and focus on performance, together with an innovative mindset, which makes you create great results.
We imagine that you have 15+ years of experience from a similar communication role, preferably in an international and fast-paced environment. You hold a background as a journalist or a master’s degree within communication and have broad experience advising and supporting stakeholders at all levels.
As a person, you are steady, confident, and empathetic - a people leader who stands firm even when things get turbulent. You are someone others naturally trust and turn to for guidance, and you help create calm and clarity when the pressure rises. You enjoy coaching and supporting younger colleagues and thrive in a role where leadership, responsibility, and collaboration go hand in hand.
