Your Team

You will join a growing team currently consisting of experienced sales and product colleagues, reporting directly to the Head of Engineering as a key member of the Product Development team. Your team will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions that address the complex challenges of bunker trading, fuel supply, and risk management for our global shipping clients. Technical Leader Steering Innovation and Excellence

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in advancing innovation and delivering customer value by implementing engineering best practices in an agile environment. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical architecture while mentoring team members and encouraging a positive, cooperative work environment. Your technical proficiency will be instrumental in ensuring our platform scales effectively to meet the demands of the global maritime fuel market.

More specifically, your responsibilities include:

• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, architectural guidance, and hands-on experience to ensure software quality and adherence to industry best practices.
• Organize architectural initiatives for scalable, efficient, and maintainable software systems that empower complex bunker trading workflows and real-time auction processes.
• Solve complex technical challenges by mitigating risks, addressing bottlenecks systematically, and continuously improving development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies to boost team productivity.

Experienced Engineer with Modern Technology Proficiency

We are looking for a software engineer with a demonstrated ability to combine in-depth technical knowledge with leadership capabilities. You have a history of delivering impactful projects and are committed to building systems that create real business value. You understand the importance of balancing technical excellence with pragmatic delivery in a results-oriented environment.

Additionally, you have the following qualifications:

• You have demonstrated experience as a software engineer with well-executed projects in React, .NET, and Azure Cloud.
• You possess advanced skills in SQL/NoSQL databases, CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, and security best practices.
• You have solid knowledge of authentication protocols and flows, such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• You have leadership experience to guide and motivate teams, plus effective communication, capacity to handle unexpected challenges, and conflict resolution skills.
• You are familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies, software design patterns, and system scalability principles.
• You demonstrate a high level of English, spoken and written
