Marine Fuel Trader (Intern)

Are you ready to build your analytical and commercial skills in a dynamic, international environment? Step into an internship where you will gain practical experience in marine fuel trading and discover the evolving world of global shipping.

We are looking for a motivated and engaged intern to join our bunker trading and operations team. This internship offers direct exposure to the marine fuel trading business, from understanding commercial dynamics to learning how day-to-day bunker operations are managed. You will be working closely with both traders and operators to gain a full picture of how deals are executed from start to finish.


Your main tasks will include:

  • Support traders in daily market analysis, price updates, and preparation of trading reports.
  • Assist the operations team in monitoring bunker deliveries, documentation, and supplier coordination.
  • Conduct market research on shipping movements, port activities, and market trends (mainly focus on China market).
  • Help update and maintain internal databases and trading systems.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects related to supply chain optimization or market intelligence.
  • Learn and apply compliance, risk management, and documentation standards within the bunkering business.

Qualifications
We are looking for a detail-oriented, engaged individual, who is committed to learning, and with a profound interest in commodity trading, shipping, or energy markets.

In addition, you:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in mandarin due to handling of Chinese language in day-to-day work
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with data analysis.
