MS Business Central Functional Consultant

We are looking for a MS Dynamics Business Central Functional Consultant to join our team in Middelfart. In this role, you will help shape and optimize the functionality of our Microsoft Dynamics Business Central platform. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, our BC team, external consultants, and our Product Owner to ensure that our system continuously evolves to meet business needs.

As a Business Central Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting Milestone’s business processes, ensuring system stability, and enhancing functional solutions across the organization.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a consultant with a comprehensive understanding of Business Central, thorough process insight, and the ability to translate business requirements into high‑quality functional solutions. You are structured, detail‑oriented, and thrive in an environment where coordination, documentation, and quality are crucial.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams to lead implementation initiatives and work directly with configuration, testing, and documentation. A focused mindset and solid communication skills will be essential, as you will engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Take part in Business Central implementation projects.
• Providing continuous support and improvements for our end-users.
• Providing input and knowledge to our product development team.
• Assisting with different workstreams during implementations.
• Assist in test script creation and execution.
• Deliver user training and prepare user documentation to support optimal system usage.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate brings extensive functional knowledge and experience with Business Central, along with structured analytical and communication skills. You understand core Business Central modules, have a well-rounded financial foundation, and can create high-quality documentation.

You are organized, thorough, and able to balance structure with responsiveness to specific challenges. You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, and you are comfortable engaging directly with users. Experience navigating complex business processes and supporting stakeholders in change processes will be beneficial.

We expect you to bring:

• 5+ years of experience with Dynamics Business Central (functional)
• Experience with international Business Central implementation projects.
• Thorough understanding of Business Central functionality.
• Pro-active, detail-oriented, independent, and ambitious.
• Well-developed consulting and communication skills in English (verbal as well as written).
• Enjoys making a difference for customers and their businesses.

Some travel activity may occur.
