New Fuels Sourcing & Business Development Manager

as we pioneer the transition to alternative fuels in the shipping industry. Your proficiency in sourcing and business development will be instrumental in expanding our low-emissions fuel portfolio and enhancing our market position.

We’re looking for a commercially minded and strategic individual to help advance the shift toward low-emission marine fuels. In this role, you will identify and secure alternative fuel partnerships, expand our sustainable fuel portfolio - especially across ARA and Europe - and solidify our position as a frontrunner in innovative bunker solutions. You will be working from one of our locations, in either Copenhagen, Rotterdam, or Monaco.


Guiding the Strategy Toward Sustainable Marine Fuels
As our New Fuels Sourcing & Business Development Manager, you will oversee our expansion into the rapidly evolving alternative fuels market. You will develop sourcing strategies, build strategic supplier relationships across Europe, and advance business development projects to grow our low-emission fuel portfolio. Operating between procurement and commercial strategy, you will ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply chains for our global clients.

More specifically, your responsibilities include:

  • Managing the sourcing and trading of alternative fuels (biofuels, LNG, bio-methanol) with primary focus on ARA and European markets
  • Developing strategic partnerships with suppliers and building long-term business relationships to secure competitive fuel sources
  • Identifying new business opportunities to expand our alternative fuels portfolio and increase market share
  • Monitor fuel specifications, regulatory compliance (IMO, FEUM), and market trends.


Strategic professional with Vision and Market Insight
We are looking for a commercial and strategic professional who can navigate the complex landscape of alternative fuels. You bring proficient negotiation skills and a thorough understanding of the emerging fuels market, allowing you to recognize opportunities and cultivate lasting relationships with key partners. Your ability to balance commercial objectives with sustainability goals will be crucial as we expand our alternative fuels portfolio.

In addition, you meet the following qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in sourcing, trading or origination of alternative fuels, with technical insight in bunkering operations
  • Extensive experience in business development and strategic sourcing within the marine fuels sector
  • Proficient negotiation skills and ability to create relationships with suppliers and partners
  • Insightful commercial acumen with experience in risk management and pricing strategies
  • Effective communication skills with fluency in English
