Senior Solution Architect, Network (Middelfart)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect – Network to join our Infrastructure & Platform team in Middelfart. The role centers around a growing focus on internal network architecture, where strong competencies are needed to ensure scalable, secure, and cloud‑enabled network solutions across the organization.

As Senior Solution Architect, you work holistically with our IT landscape and take architectural responsibility for network design across both on‑prem and cloud environments, with Azure as a central platform. You act as the link between business needs, project management, vendors, and internal IT functions, ensuring that network and cloud solutions are aligned with architecture principles, roadmap, and governance requirements.

Your responsibilities

You will play a key role in defining and maintaining the architectural direction within the network domain, with a strong focus on how network and cloud interact in a hybrid setup.

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing and owning network architecture across on‑prem and Azure environments, with a clear focus on cloud connectivity, scalability, and security.
• Ensuring tight alignment between network architecture and cloud initiatives, making Azure an integrated and visible part of the overall infrastructure design.
• Addressing a growing complexity and demand within the network area by defining robust, future‑proof solutions that support business growth.
• Working closely with project managers on task definition, prioritization, and architectural guidance to ensure solutions are delivered as intended.
• Collaborating with vendors and partners, ensuring that requirements, architecture, and expectations are clearly defined and adhered to.
• Ensuring that network architectures meet security, compliance, and governance requirements in close collaboration with Cybersecurity.
• Staying up to date on network and cloud technologies and sharing architectural knowledge across the organization.

Your profile

You are an experienced solution architect with deep expertise in networking and a solid understanding of cloud platforms – especially Azure. You understand how architectural decisions within the network domain impact cloud capabilities, operations, and business outcomes.

We expect that you bring:

• Strong experience with network architecture in enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure and solid understanding of cloud networking concepts.
• Experience working in hybrid infrastructures, connecting on‑prem and cloud environments.
• The ability to translate business needs into clear, robust architectural solutions.
• Experience collaborating across stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex architectures to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Fluency in Danish and English.
