You will be part of our ESG-Q department, but sitting with our “Global Business Services”, while reporting to our Sustainability Certification & Compliance Manager. Your stakeholders will primarily include our internal sales teams and distributors around the world. Our team plays a vital role in ensuring all marine fuel operations comply with international and local environmental regulations while supporting our clients in meeting their sustainability goals.

Regulatory Compliance and Documentation Specialist

As our Sustainability Compliance Coordinator, you will serve as the cornerstone of our environmental compliance efforts. You will be responsible for monitoring sustainability initiatives, ensuring all operations meet relevant environmental regulations, and maintaining accurate documentation for certification processes. You will support our company's commitment to sustainable marine fuels and help our traders navigate complex regulatory requirements while advancing our position as an industry leader in environmental stewardship.

More specifically, your responsibilities include:

• Managing end-to-end Proof of Sustainability/Compliance processes for all certified transactions globally.
• Coordinating with suppliers and commercial teams to secure the required documentation and maintain accurate chain-of-custody records.
• Providing specialized support with design and implementation of cross-group control procedures for sustainability compliance.

Forward-Thinking Professional with Analytical Skills

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional who is interested in sustainability and motivated to ensure compliance within the marine fuel industry. You thrive in a structured environment where precision and thoroughness are essential, and you enjoy collaborating across teams to fulfill environmental goals. Your proficient organizational abilities allow you to manage complex documentation requirements while maintaining an understanding of the bigger sustainability picture in global shipping.

Additionally, you have the following qualifications:

• You have an interest or experience with certification schemes (ISCC, RSB) and regulatory frameworks (RED II, MARPOL, EU ETS).
• You have capable communication and coordination skills across teams and partners.
• You have solid documentation, reporting, and analytical abilities.
• You are proficient in Excel and document management systems (experience with sustainability reporting tools is a plus).
