Job Description

Yacht Assistant Stockholm

ARE YOU OUR NEW STAR THAT LOVES A BUSY ENVIRONMENT?

When the world’s most impressive yachts arrive to Scandinavia, someone needs to make sure everything runs perfectly – from the first lead to the final departure. That someone could be you.

We are looking for a hands-on shipping enthusiast to join our team as a fulltime employee in Stockholm. This is not a desk-job only; you will be on the pier, onboard and in the middle of the action, coordinating yacht calls all over Scandinavia and solving real operational challenges in real time.

MAIN TASKS

You will be coordinating, handling and clearing yacht calls – working closely with customers, suppliers and authorities. Tasks can include:

  • Coordinating with immigration, customs, ports and other authorities
  • Being on the pier to make sure operations run smoothly
  • Re-arranging plans in last minute
  • Supporting service delivery and contributing to business development

WORKLOAD

Yacht schedules do not always match office hours, and it is normal that assistance is needed outside of normal working hours. Therefore, overtime is expected. The high season is during summer and is the most hectic period of the year, whereas the winters are calmer.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • A calm and practical problem solver – especially in hectic and stressful situations
  • Independent and proactive with strong ownership mentality
  • Service minded and solution oriented
  • Eligible to live and work in Sweden
  • Excellent English
  • Driver’s license B
  • Yacht/shipping/logistics experience is a plus, but attitude and drive matter

WE OFFER

  • A high energy role in an international, fast paced environment
  • Direct contact with people from all over the world
  • No two days alike – varied in tasks and responsibility
  • A unique opportunity to gain broad insight into yacht operations

Expected start date: As soon as possible

Please apply in English or Swedish.
